Lucy Jones

Lucy is a PhD-trained Chemistry teacher with experience across leading UK schools. She completed her doctorate in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Manchester before training to teach through United Teaching (SCITT) with UCL and Paddington Academy. Lucy began her teaching career in 2015 at Caterham School in Surrey, before moving to The King’s School, Canterbury, where she taught Chemistry and also took on the role of Head of Tennis.

In August 2020, Lucy joined the British International School HCMC, where she has continued to specialise in teaching Chemistry across a range of academic programmes, including IB. She is known for her clear explanations and structured approach, helping students build strong conceptual understanding and confidence in the subject.
